With its hull based on the rugged and well proven Treeve 16 Cove Boat the pedigree of this craft speaks for itself. Developed especially as an introduction to Gaff Rig
Sailing and built with full integral buoyancy tanks the RS16 Red Sailboat is virtually
unsinkable.

Utilising a successful commercial fishing boat hull this sailboat has a low centre of
gravity and high freeboard ensuring the ultimate in stability and safety.
Other features include a shallow draught of 2' 3" and a traditional straight
keel.

This boat harmoniously combines the traditions and craftsmanship of the past with
modern materials and construction methods.
